Buttero's hero sneaker since 2013, Tanino keeps the same essential shape it launched with: raw-cut edges, two stitch points at the toe, brass eyelets.

The upper is suede in moka, chosen for its even nap and depth of colour. Leather laces and brass eyelets complete the closure, with a spare pair of laces included. A genuine-rubber sole runs underfoot, comfortable from first wear. Made in Italy.

It runs wide — most people take two sizes down from their usual sportswear size.

To care for your Buttero shoes, gently wipe away dirt with a damp cloth or sponge, then nourish the leather with a light application of natural wax, buffing with a soft cloth to restore its shine. Keep your shoes away from excessive heat or moisture. Should they get wet, blot away any excess water and allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature.
